East Midlands - Fares Changes

From Monday 30th June 2025 we're making changes to a large number of our fares on services 2X, 9, 86, 90, 92, 93 & Novus Direct. This is due to the rising costs of operation including the recent rise in employers national insurance contributions. We appreciate fare changes are never welcomed however they are unfortunately a necessity to allow our routes to continue operating. We've tried to hold off making changes for as long as possible, with some fares, particularly those on Service 9, and our Nottinghamshire Network having been frozen for around 18-24 months, but a rise is now unavoidable. 

Single fares will continue to be capped at a maximum price of £3 in line with the national bus fare cap scheme, which has been extended recently by HM Government until March 2027.
