Network update
East Midlands - July 2024 Network Changes
2 months ago
We're making some changes to our Bingham network from Sunday 28th July 2024 to better reflect passenger demand. A summary of these changes is outlined below:
Service 92
Nottingham > Cotgrave > Cropwell Bishop > Langar > Bingham
Service withdrawn.
Due to lower than anticipated demand the existing service 92 on Monday-Saturday evenings will be withdrawn. Journeys to/from Cropwell Bishop will still be possible via service 90A which will be introduced as an evening variation on some Nottingham > Newark journeys.
The last day of operation on the current service 92 will be Saturday 27th July.
Service 90 (90A, 90B)
Nottingham > Bingham > Farndon > Newark > Fernwood
- An additional weekday journey numbered 90B is introduced from Fernwood at 0825 which will run as far as Newark Bus Station providing a pre 9am arrival (0840).
- Additional running time is provided on weekday afternoon peak journeys to/from Nottingham to better reflect traffic conditions. In addition the 1500 ex Fernwood will now depart at 1505 and run at least 5 minutes later throughout. The 1625 ex Nottingham will now departed at 1635 and run at least 10 minutes later throughout.
- A revised evening service is introduced on all days with an additional bus in each direction between Nottingham and Fernwood via Newark on weekdays. Evening journeys will generally be numbered 90A and will operate via Cropwell Bishop and Cropwell Butler instead of Radcliffe.
- Sunday service is enhanced to generally operate every 2 hours with all journeys extended to Fernwood. This will provide six return trips each Sunday between Nottingham and Newark compared to the current four. Most Sunday daytime journeys will operate numbered 90A and will serve Cropwell Bishop and Cropwell Butler instead of Radcliffe.
- In addition on weekdays, additional journeys will operate between Newark Bus Station, Farndon, Bingham and Nottingham numbered 92 filling the gap between current morning peak and daytime service and providing capacity at other busy times of the day. See New Service 92 below for more details.

NEW Service 92 (92B)
Nottingham > Bingham > Farndon > Newark
We're delighted to be introducing new service 92 between Nottingham and Newark Northgate Station via Bingham and Farndon. This service is being introduced in partnership with Nottinghamshire County Council and part-funded by HM Government.
New service 92 will supplement the existing service 90 timetable by providing additional journey opportunities where the 90 is currently busiest. However service 92 will take an alternative route in Farndon reinstating a service to California Road, the Copse and Almond Grove. In Newark buses will not serve Fernwood but instead extend from Newark Bus Station to Northgate Railway Station providing links from Bingham and Farndon to the East Coast Mainline.
Service 92 will operate on weekdays only initially.
