East Midlands - Leicester Marathon 2024

On Sunday 13th October the 2024 Leicester Marathon is taking place. This will cause some disruption to our services in Leicester City Centre. Details are listed below:

Novus Direct

Buses timetabled to depart New Lubbesthorpe between 0915 & 1145 will not be able to serve the City Loop. Buses will run as normal as far as St Nicholas Circle (Jubilee Square) and then operate direct to St Margaret's Bus Station. Unfortunately we won't be able to serve Welford Place, Royal Infirmary Hospital (Tower Street), Nelson Mandela Park, Leicester Station or Charles Street during these times.

Service 21

This service is suspended until 1300. 

We sincerely apologise for any disruption caused to your journey during the Marathon. Full service should resume on all routes by 1300.
