Essex - December 2024 Service Change

Harlow Bus Station is closing on Saturday 30th November as its rebuilding reaches the next phase. From Sunday 1st December a temporary Bus Station is opening on the site of the former Post Office Road Car Park. For most routes there will be no change to the timetable, however we are making some alterations to routes 5, 6, 24 and 31. In addition there will be a very minor change to Service 30 in Epping. A summary of these changes and the new temporary Bus Station stand allocations can be found below.

Service 5 - Harlow > Sumners Farm

An additional journey is introduced on Sunday evenings departing Harlow at 1925. There is no change to the weekday or Saturday timetable.

Service 24 - Harlow > River Way Industrial Estate

A revised weekday timetable is introduced with more journeys throughout the daytime. Buses will operate to an even every 30 minute frequency between 9am and 3pm.

A small number of additional morning journeys are also introduced including a pre 8am arrival onto the River Way Industrial Estate.

Service 26 (26A) - Harlow > Little Parndon

Service 6 on Sundays is renumbered to 26A.

A weekday service is introduced between Harlow, Princess Alexandra Hospital and Little Parndon numbered 26. Buses will operate hourly from 0925 to 1425.

Service 30 - Epping > Coopersale

The 0740 ex Coopersale and 0745 ex Epping journeys on weekdays are withdrawn.

In addition journeys on all days are revised to better reflect traffic conditions.

Service 31 - Harlow > Coopersale

A revised timetable is introduced on weekdays:

• The 0652 ex Harlow is retimed to depart at 0650 with additional running time provided along the route.
• The 0750 ex Coopersale is retimed to depart at 0745 with additional running time provided along the route.
• The 0902 ex Harlow is retimed to depart at 0900 and will run 2 minutes earlier from all stops.
• An additional journey is introduced from Tylers Cross to Harlow via Roydon at 0905.

• Buses towards Sumners & Katherines will depart from Stand C.

Services 2 & 3

• Buses towards Great Parndon & Staple Tye will depart from Stand B.
• Buses towards Harlow Town Railway Station will depart from Stand D.

Service 4

• Buses towards Latton Bush will depart from Stand A.
• Buses towards Harlow Town Railway Station will depart from Stand D.

Service 5

• Buses towards Sumners Farm will depart from Stand C.

Service 15 (15A)

• Buses towards Staple Tye, Waltham Abbey & Waltham Cross will depart from Stand B.

Services 20, 21 & 22 (22B)

• Buses towards Potter Street, Epping, North Weald & Ongar will depart from Stand A.

Service 23

• Buses towards Church Langley will depart from Stand H.
• Buses towards Harlow Town Railway Station will depart from Stand D.

Service 24

• Buses towards Harlow Town Railway Station & River Way will depart from Stand F.

Service 25 (25B)

• Buses towards Broxbourne & the Brookfield Centre will depart from Stand E.

Service 26 (26A)

• Buses towards Princess Alexandra Hospital & Little Parndon will depart from Stand E.
• Buses towards Harlow Town Railway Station will depart from Stand E.

Service 28

• Buses towards Old Harlow will depart from Stand F.

Service 31

• Buses towards Epping & Coopersale will depart from Stand E.
