Essex - Fares Resume on 12 & 48

Following an initial period of free operation whilst short notice registration processes were completed, normal fares will apply on Services 12 and 48 from Monday 30th September.

Since we took these services over after their sudden withdrawal by Arrow Taxis, we've been operating free of charge whilst registrations were approved by the Office of the Traffic Commissioner. Those registrations have now been approved so fares will be charged from Monday 30th September.

Service 12

Service 12 will share common ticketing with Services 8 & 10 which also serve Wickford. Our existing Wickford Zone (as far as Jacksons Corner) and West Essex Zone (full route) tickets will be valid on the route. 

Day, Week and Month (31 day)* tickets are available across both zones with discounts available Under-19s. Tickets are available on bus or via myTrip. Under-5s continue to travel free at all times.

Service 48

Service 48 will have dedicated tickets available both on bus and via myTrip. Day and Week tickets are available alongside a flexible 10 single trip bundle*. Discounts are available for Under-19s and Under-5s continue to travel free at all times.

Single Tickets

Single tickets on both routes will be capped at £2.00 until December 2024 under the National Bus Fare Cap Scheme.
