Essex - Fare Changes from 21st July 2025

From Monday 21st July we're making changes to the fares on the majority of our Essex and Hertfordshire services. This is due to the rising costs of operation including the recent rise in employers national insurance contributions. We appreciate fare changes are never welcomed however they are unfortunately a necessity to allow our routes to continue operating. We've tried to hold off making changes for as long as possible, but a rise is now unavoidable.

Single fares will continue to be capped at a maximum price of £3 in line with the national bus fare cap scheme, which has been extended recently by HM Government until March 2027.

There are no changes to fares on services: 34*, 84B, 305, 315, 322, 323, 324, 325, 333, 335, 375, 701, 702 or HL1*. 

*East Hertfordshire zonal tickets have changed.
