Essex - Mid Spring Service Changes

We'll making a number of small changes to our network throughout the spring all on varying midweek dates. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the midweek changes, these are all a result of odd Essex County Council tendering exercises. 

Service 45 - South Woodham Ferrers > Burnham-on-Crouch > Bradwell Waterside

From Thursday 19th February we'll be taking over operation of Service 45 from NIBS Buses. Theres no change to the route or timetable with the service continuing to provide two return journeys along the route on weekdays. 

We'll be offering flat single fares only on Service 45 with ENCTS passes accepted as normal.

Service 48 - Temple Grove > Chelmsford > Pleshey

Following a re-tendering exercise by Essex County Council operation of Service 48 will pass to Stephensons of Essex from Thursday 11th March. 

Stephensons of Essex will be operating a reduced timetable with some journeys introduced by Central Connect as commercial enhancements in August 2024 withdrawn. 

Service 702 - Chelmer Valley Park&Ride

From Friday 6th March operation of the Chelmer Valley Park&Ride service will pass to First Essex with a reduced timetable following a re-tendering exercise by Essex County Council.
