Festive Service Levels 2024

We'll be running amended timetables across our operations over the Christmas and New Year period. A summary of our festive service levels is shown below:

Normal timetables will run in full until the end of service on Monday 23rd December.

Tuesday 24th December - Christmas Eve

We'll be operating normal weekday timetables on all routes except:

  • Services 1, 2, 5, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 23, 24, 25, 28, 30, 31 in Essex and Hertfordshire will operate to their Saturday Timetables.
  • Service 48 in Chelmsford will run a weekday timetable except for the 1155 from Temple Grove and 1300 from Pleshey which won't operate. 
  • No Service on R4, 22 or 26.

There will also be earlier finishes on some routes as shown below:

Wednesday 25th December - Christmas Day

No services will operate except the NHS Waterbeach Shuttle in Cambridge which will run to normal timetable.

Thursday 26th December - Boxing Day

No services will operate except the NHS Waterbeach Shuttle in Cambridge which will run to normal timetable.

Friday 27th December

We'll be operating normal Saturdays timetables on all routes except:

  • Service 48 in Chelmsford which will run to a weekday timetable except for the 1155 from Temple Grove and 1300 from Pleshey which won't operate.
  • Services 23, 24, 25 & V4 in Peterborough and St Ives which will operate to normal weekday times.
  • NUH Phoenix Park Shuttle in Nottingham which will operate to normal weekday times.
  • Flexibus+ F1, F2 & F3 in Swaffham which will operate to normal weekday times.

Saturday 28th December

We'll be operating normal Saturdays timetables on all routes.

Sunday 29th December

We'll be operating normal Sunday timetables on all routes.

Monday 30th December

We'll be operating normal Saturdays timetables on all routes except:

  • Service 48 in Chelmsford which will run to a weekday timetable except for the 1155 from Temple Grove and 1300 from Pleshey which won't operate.
  • Services 23, 24, 25 & V4 in Peterborough and St Ives which will operate to normal weekday times.
  • NUH Phoenix Park Shuttle in Nottingham which will operate to normal weekday times.
  • Flexibus+ F1, F2 & F3 in Swaffham which will operate to normal weekday times.

Tuesday 31st December - New Years Eve

We'll be operating Saturdays timetables on all routes except:

  • Service 48 in Chelmsford which will run to a weekday timetable except for the 1155 from Temple Grove and 1300 from Pleshey which won't operate.
  • Services 23, 24 & V4 in Peterborough and St Ives which will operate to normal weekday times.
  • Service 25 in Peterborough will operate to weekday times with an earlier finish as shown below.
  • NUH Phoenix Park Shuttle in Nottingham which will operate to normal weekday times.
  • Flexibus+ F1, F2 & F3 in Swaffham which will operate to normal weekday times.

No services will operate except the NHS Waterbeach Shuttle in Cambridge which will run to normal timetable.

Thursday 2nd January

We'll be operating normal weekday timetables on all routes except:

  • Services 1, 2, 5, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 28, 30, 31 in Essex and Hertfordshire will operate to their Saturday Timetables.
  • Services 2X, 90, 93, Novus Direct & Novus Fosse in the East Midlands which will operate to their Saturday Timetables. 
  • Service 48 in Chelmsford will run a weekday timetable except for the 1155 from Temple Grove and 1300 from Pleshey which won't operate. 
  • No Service on R4, 26, 92 or 97.

Friday 3rd January

We'll be operating normal weekday timetables on all routes except:

  • Services 1, 2, 5, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 28, 30, 31 in Essex and Hertfordshire will operate to their Saturday Timetables.
  • Services 2X, 90, 93, Novus Direct & Novus Fosse in the East Midlands which will operate to their Saturday Timetables. 
  • Service 48 in Chelmsford will run a weekday timetable except for the 1155 from Temple Grove and 1300 from Pleshey which won't operate. 
  • No Service on R4, 26, 92 or 97.

Normal timetables will resume in full from the start of service on Saturday 4th December.

Please note there are changes to timetables in Leicester, St Ives, St Neots, Harlow, Wickford, Billericay and Thurrock from Monday 6th January
