Festive Service Levels 2025

We'll be running amended timetables across our operations over the Christmas and New Year period. This is to reflect significantly lower demand across our network. A summary of our festive service levels is shown below:

Normal timetables will run in full until the end of service on Sunday 21st December.

Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd December

East Midlands

  • We'll be operating Saturday timetables on all routes.
  • The 2355 2N will not operate.
  • Service 92 will not operate.

East of England

  • We'll be running to a Saturday schedule on Swaffham flexibus+ (f3 won't operate).
  • We'll be running regular weekday timetables on Services 23, 24, 25, 61, 67, 68, 100 and the NHS Waterbeach Shuttle.

Essex, Hertfordshire & Thurrock

  • We'll be running a regular weekday timetable on Hertfordshire services H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6, HL1, SB6, SB11, 34, 35, 36, 37 and 38, along with Essex services 305, 315, 322, 323, 324, 325 & 335. 
  • Service 48 in Chelmsford will run to its normal weekday timetable with the exception of the 11:55 from Temple Grove and 13:00 from Pleshey, which will not run.
  • Chelmsford Park&Ride 701 & 702 will operate to a regular weekday timetable.
  • Service 26 in Harlow will not operate.
  • We'll be running Saturday timetables on all other Essex services: 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 28, 30, 31, 60, 333 & 375. 

Christmas Eve - Wednesday 24th December

East Midlands

  • We'll be operating Saturday timetables on services 9, 86, 90, 93 & LCC2. Service 90 will finish earlier in the evening. See here. 
  • Services 2X & 92 will not operate.
  • We'll be operating a Sunday timetable on Novus Direct in Leicester, however buses will finish earlier in the evening. See here. 

East of England

  • We'll be running to a Saturday schedule on Swaffham flexibus+ (f3 won't operate)
  • We'll be running regular weekday timetables on Services 23, 24, 25, 61, 67, 68 and the NHS Waterbeach Shuttle. However there will be earlier finishes on the 25. See here.
  • We'll be running a Sunday timetable on service 100 in Cambridge, with buses finishing earlier in the evening. See here. 

Essex, Hertfordshire & Thurrock

  • We'll be running Saturday timetables on all routes except those listed below. Last buses on a number of routes will be earlier in the evening. See here. 
  • Service 48 in Chelmsford will run to its normal weekday timetable with the exception of the 11:55 from Temple Grove and 13:00 from Pleshey, which will not run.
  • Service 26 in Harlow will not operate. 
  • Service 8A between Chelmsford and Rayleigh will not operate. 

Christmas Day - 25th December

No buses will run on Christmas Day except the NHS Waterbeach Shuttle and a special limited timetable on Service 333 to Stansted Airport.

Boxing Day - 26th December

No buses will run on Boxing Day except the NHS Waterbeach Shuttle and a special limited timetable on Service 333 to Stansted Airport.

Saturday 27th December

Normal Saturday timetables will operate on all routes.

Sunday 28th December

Normal Sunday timetables will operate on all routes.

Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th December

East Midlands

  • We'll be operating Saturday timetables on all routes.
  • The 2355 2N will not operate.
  • Service 92 will not operate.

East of England

  • We'll be running to a Saturday schedule on Swaffham flexibus+ (f3 won't operate).

New Timetables

There will be timetable changes on Service 100 in Cambridge plus a number of Essex & Hertfordshire routes from Monday 5th January. Full details of those changes will be published shortly.
