HL1 Hoddesdon Shuttle
Central Connect are proud to operate Service HL1 linking High Leigh Garden Village with Hoddesdon Centre and Broxbourne Station.
Service HL1 is delivered in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council, Taylor Wimpey and Greater Anglia. The route provides a fast frequent connection linking High Leigh with both the local amenities in Hoddesdon and rail links from Broxbourne Station into Liverpool Street and Stratford, as well to Cambridge and Hertford.

Service Summary
Service HL1 offers a fast connections for all journeys:
- High Leigh > Broxbourne in just 12-15 minutes.
- High Leigh > Hoddesdon Centre in just 6-8 minutes.
- Hoddesdon Centre > Broxbourne Station in just 6-9 minutes.
Buses operate generally every 30 minutes seven days a week 362 days a year (sorry no service on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years Day).

- 0640 Saturday
- 0840 Sunday
Last return journey from Broxbourne Station (Hoddesdon Clock Tower)
- 2000 (2006) Monday to Saturday

Fares
We offer simple great value fares on the HL1 with single tickets offered at a flat rate £3 for Adults and £2 for those Under 19. Day tickets, season tickets and group tickets are also available. We also accept Intalink Connect tickets allowing joined up travel with other local bus services across the wider Hertfordshire region and Intalink Savercards can be used to obtain a discounted single fare of £1.50 for pass holders!

Rail Connections
Service HL1 provides fast frequent connections to the Greater Anglia network at Broxbourne Station. London Liverpool Street can be reached in as little as 45 minutes from High Leigh with the fastest connecting trains! Alternative connections are available to Hertford, Cambridge and London Stratford.
