St Johns School

Vectare serve St Johns School with our public 13 (13A, 13C) and 31 services.

Service 13 (13A, 13C)

Service 13 and it's variants run from Waltham Cross to Epping and North Weald via Waltham Abbey and Upshire. 

Service 13A runs at school times to serve Waltham Cross, Waltham Abbey and Upshire, with buses serving both the Shernbroke Road and Ninefields estates in Waltham Abbey. Service 13A on schooldays runs on site at St Johns allowing pupils to board and alight in the dedicated bus park. 

Service 13C runs at peak times and offers journey opportunities from North Weald and Epping Station. Service 13C doesn't run onto the school site so it is recommended pupils board and alight at Epping, Tesco and make the short walk to the school via Tower Road or Lower Bury Lane.

Special Under-19 Term and Academic Year passes are available at selected times, generally a few weeks prior to the start of each new term. These passes allow unlimited travel on Service 13 throughout their validity period including weekends and school holidays. Details and availability are listed below:

St Johns Scholar Weekly

We're sorry to advise that this ticket has been withdrawn for the 23/24 academic year. Since we inherited Service 13 back in 2020 we have found this ticket to have been disproportionately priced with unsustainable discounts offered. An U19 weekly ticket is still available via our NW Essex zone fares which also includes Saturday travel. 

Service 31

Service 31 runs from Coopersale to Harlow via Ivy Chimneys and Epping offering journey opportunities for pupils attending St Johns School. Service 31 doesn't run onto the school site so it is recommended pupils board and alight at Epping, Tesco and make the short walk to the school via Tower Road or Lower Bury Lane.

Unfortunately we aren't able to offer tickets for Service 31 via the myTrip app but great value single and returns tickets are available to purchase onboard the bus.
