Summer service changes in Clacton

We're introducing a variety of changes to our network in Clacton to coincide with the start of the school summer holidays, and better cater to expected visitor demand in the area. 

We are introducing additional journeys between Point Clear and Clacton at key times through the day to support visitors to the area.

Open tops are back! We are introducing new service 8 will operate from Pier Avenue to Clacton Pier, then along the seafront to Holland-on-Sea before returning to Clacton along Frinton Road/Holland Road & Clacton Rail Station to provide additional capacity for passengers along this route into Clacton. This service will operate on weekdays & Saturdays from Monday 20th July to Saturday 29th August.

We're introducing new service 10, providing three journeys each way per day between St Osyth Beach, St Osyth, Bocking's Elm & Clacton Pier Avenue. This will operate on weekdays & Saturdays only from Monday 20th July to Saturday 29th August.
